How do I know when to take Phyto Power?
Phyto Power gently helps you maintain hormonal balance¹ during menopause and postmenopause. The menopause refers to the day of your final period. If you have not had a period for 12 consecutive months or one year, you are "officially" in the postmenopausal stage. During the transition to postmenopause, oestrogen levels gradually decline and stabilise at a consistently lower level.

Since the body needs time to adjust to a lower level of oestrogen, many of us experience typical menopausal symptoms. By the way, you don't need to know what your oestrogen levels are to use Phyto Power. That’s because natural products are generally more gentle on the body than hormone therapies. If you are no longer having periods, then you can start using Phyto Power.

If you are still having regular or irregular periods and haven't had any hot flushes and other symptoms yet, XbyX Peri Balance might be more suitable for you.

What does the powder taste like?

Phyto Power has no known contraindications with hormone therapy or bioidentical hormones and can be taken in parallel with hormone replacement therapy (HRT). However, you should always consult with your trusted health practitioner or doctor before taking any additional supplements or medications since your medical history is unique and anything, including herbal supplements can have contraindications with any prescribed medications that you are already taking.

Can I take Phyto Power if I have had hormone-positive breast cancer or if I'm taking thyroid medication?
Phyto Power contains red clover extract, which includes the isoflavones genistein and daidzein. Those with a history of hormone receptor-positive cancers should consult their doctor before taking it. The same applies to individuals taking thyroid medications.

Is Peggy taking Phyto Power?

How do I know if I’m already menopausal?
The menopause marks the period of the final menstrual cycle - when the last egg bids adieu. Technically, menopause lasts for one day and signifies the transition from perimenopause to postmenopause. Since there is no reliable way of telling if the current month's period is truly the last one, the term "the menopause" is used retrospectively when you have not had a period for 12 consecutive months. Only then can we be certain that it was indeed the final period. On average, the last period occurs at around 52 years of age. But, it can happen earlier or later.
